We are safely back in South Africa - unlike our luggage unfortunately which still appears to be holidaying in Europe!
I just wanted to pass on my families thanks for organising such a wonderful trip for us. Everything about it was perfect. The boat is majestic and we fell in love. The crew looked after us so well, Oscar seemed to be forever taking our girls out on the dinghy or banana boat or making them milkshakes. They were taken fishing with Ersin the Captain.. I was humbled by their desire to ensure our trip was just as we wanted it. They were knowledgeable, gracious, discreet but managing to appear at just the right time for drinks, trips or keeping my two girls entertained. The food was amazing and our compliments go to Ali for getting us to try some new and delicious food - we over ate and felt bad when we couldn’t finish all his lovely food.
You also went above and beyond, making sure our collection and transfer from the airport to the boat was efficient and comfortable. What a lovely surprise to receive flowers. Obviously with the terrible events the day before we were due to come to Istanbul meaning our travel plans were cancelled, you helped ensure we could still take our trip by arranging a new pickup point in Greece instead of Gocek. Thank you for your patience and persistence in ensuring we still managed to get on our holiday.
It really was the best holiday we have spent as a family and we have already agreed we want to go sailing again next year. We will be in touch!

Merhaba Erkan, I am now back in Germany and finally find the time to send you an email.
I just wanted to say - also on behalf of my friends - that our Gulet tour was perfect. We had a great time and loved the boat, the tour and especially the crew. Mert, Ekrem, Ramazan and Baki were a great team and they were great hosts! The food, as I expected and hoped, was great. So, really we have nothing to complain (okay, we ran out of beer and red wine, but the crew filled it up quickly)
My friends, most of them have been in Turkey for the first time in their life, were so positivly surprised by the nature, the food, the weather, the coast/water and of course the friendlyness and hospitality of the Turkish people. Some of them considered to charter a Gulet with their families in the future. So we hope that things in Turkey "will get back to normal" quickly and the people can live peacefully together. We would love to come back one day.
Attached two pictures with the request to forward it to Mert, Ekrem, Ramazan and Baki. They really did a great job and without the crew, our trip would not have been as great as it was.

El capitán y la tripulación fueron paradigmas de un servicio excepcional. El chef creó comidas fantásticamente sabrosas, cada una un evento único y especial. Hicimos varias caminatas en diferentes islas, y un miembro de la tripulación nos mostró una flora interesante y hermosas vistas. Fueron muy profesionales y educados, hicieron todo lo posible para mantenernos a todos muy bien atendidos y lo hicieron de tal manera que parecíamos solos, hasta que necesitábamos algo. Luego, estaban allí de inmediato, a menudo incluso antes de que pidiéramos algo.
Nos llevaron a las costas más privadas, convenciendo a los delfines cercanos para que los siguieran y jugaran con el bote por un rato. Mantuvieron el bote limpio y cómodo, para que pudiéramos sentarnos en cualquier lugar mientras observamos el baile de luces en las aguas índigo. ¡Fantástico capitán, tripulación, paisaje y tiempo! No podría recomendar mejor un viaje con este equipo.

Se lo recomendaría a cualquiera que esté pensando en hacer un crucero en goleta.
Estas vacaciones fueron las mejores hasta ahora. La goleta fue increíble, no podía creer el tamaño de este hermoso barco. Estaba limpio, las habitaciones estaban bien equipadas y cada habitación tenía un gran baño, fue una pena que no usáramos las habitaciones para dormir, ya que todos dormíamos en la terraza, ¡era como estar de vacaciones con los waltons! y la tripulación fue muy amable, todos nos sentimos como una gran familia. La goleta tenía excelentes instalaciones, un bote banana, canoa, equipo de buceo, hamacas, lancha rápida para esquí acuático. Todos los días era incluso mejor que el anterior. Hicimos el entretenimiento de la noche bailando toda la noche con nuestros CD, bailando el limbo y, en general, divirtiéndonos con mis nuevos amigos. Nunca olvidaré estas vacaciones y, si alguna vez tienes la oportunidad, se las recomendaría a cualquiera que esté pensando en hacer un crucero en goleta.

We as a group of 22 persons chartered Oguzbey for a week cruise from Bodrum to Marmaris with stops on the Greek Islands Symi & Rhodes. The whole group was very happy and ebnjoyed the excellent quality of life on board of Oguz Bey. Comfort, Food & Beverage were excellent. The crew very friendly and helpful.
A special compliment goes to Mr. Erkan Ari - sales manager at guletyacht - for all his fabulous assistance during months in preparing our cruise in all aspects.
A special was our decision to book an all inclusive pension. If beverages (soft drinks and alcoholics) would not have been included we would have had a terrible fuss in accounting at the end of the cruise. I can only recommend guletyacht - they did a good job.

Dear Ali, Donal O’Dwyer here from Sydney. We had the true pleasure of chartering your beautiful gullet from Bodrum to Gocek for a week on the last week in September.
It was a family get together and it was for us all the trip of a lifetime.
Prior to arriving I have to say that the folks I worked through to book the gulet were very good and professional.
Then to start the trip, the time of year was perfect – beautiful temperature and, as it was nearing the end of the season, it was relatively quiet.
Secondly, the region we travelled in was truly magnificient – with the turquoise waters, the fabulous coastal scenery including so many secluded bays it was sheer perfection.
And now to the gullet and crew.- Esma Sultan is magnificient – it is spacious and beautifully built and laid out. Although we were a large family group it was just as easy to escape and be on your own or mix with the other family members as you wished – there were so many places on the boat to accommodate us. It was an absolute joy.
Finally, you had a magnificent crew – all of them. The Captain (Usay) was so great – he wanted to do all he could to ensure we had the holiday we wished for – he discussed the itinerary frequently and always was of the view that it was what we wanted that mattered. We had a small medical emergency – which thankfully proved to be a false alarm – but the Usay made sure he was with us at all times – waited at the medical centre with us until everything was solved and was invaluable with his knowledge and language at the hospital.
The chef was outstanding sh is a truly lovely person – again great variety and excellent quality of food. Everyone raved about the food!
The [erson that mainly took care of our day to day needs such as serving drinks etc was Tah Tah - he is such a good and nice young man - a great sense of fun - he was magnificent.
The other staff were always attentive and excellent – they were always there when needed but not intrusive at other times.
Ali, we had the holiday of a lifetime – enormously due to being on your beautiful gullet with an exceptional crew and great human beings.

Muchas gracias por esta experiencia inolvidable. Un viaje maravilloso con un personal amable y atento. Nos lo pasamos de maravilla y Sulhi y los chicos nos hicieron sentir como en familia. La comida era excelente y el chef y el personal hicieron un trabajo maravilloso al mimarnos. Mucho espacio en el barco.
Recomendaremos sus servicios a nuestros amigos y ya estamos hablando de regresar para un crucero más largo. ¿Podría decirme qué categoría y nombre me puede dar para que pueda darle una recomendación entusiasta en Trip Advisor? Gracias de nuevo Claude y Kerry Allouche.
